The Albet i Noya family has been Spain’s leading organic wine producer since 1979. Situated on the Ordal mountain range in Penedes (Northeastern Spain), the estate enjoys a privileged micro-climate with lower than average rainfall. The cellar is constantly innovating to find the most appropriate techniques for the varieties cultivated. Albet i Noya is currently run by brothers Josep Maria and Antoni Albet i Noya. In 1972, the family began a long process of continuous renovation of the cellar, as well as switching 100% of the estate over to organic farming methods. They now control about 115 acres of completely organic vineyards. Today, Albet I Noya is widely recognized as the leading estate in Spain for organic wines.
