Around 300 years ago, the Rigal family first developed the estate of Château St. Didier-Parnac. Today, the winery is owned by Maison Rigal, which specializes in wines of Cahors and southwest France. With more than 250 years of experience, Rigal is focused on tradition, authenticity, and quality.
Château St Didier-Parnac is located in the Lot Valley between Cahors and Luzech in southwest France. The winery benefits from a unique terroir that includes a variety of soils: shingle, quartz and sand, gravelly earth, and a clay-and-limestone mix. The primary grape harvested on the property is Malbec, the signature grape of Cahors, which is known for producing wines so deep in color they appear black.
