Puligny-Montrachet

South-eastern facing slopes that range from 230 to 320 meters is where you will find the vines that produce this wine. The majority of these vineyards consist of brown limestone soils with marls and limey-clays found on the surface. A beautifully balanced bouquet with harmonious aromas of fragrant hawthorn blossoms, citrusy lemongrass, sweet marzipan, and toasted hazelnuts define Domaine Roux’s Puligny-Montrachet. The flavors are ripe overall. Cultivated from limestone soil, Chardonnay grapes undergo fermentation in French oak barrels. The wine is racked off the lees into new and used French oak barrels to age for 13 months. Cellar for a number of years before uncorking for best results.
